Sushi Update!

No.. sushi hasn't died or run away yet.. And when I caught up with my sister recently, I saw how big and not to mention naughty Sushi the Samurai Cat has become!!

Here's her all greedy want to open my sister's present :p

First she hides away and looks out for my sister before she goes on with the crime :p

Then she attacks the spy camera to destroy evidence!
She is after all.. a samurai cat :p

Then she proceed to doing her crime..

Sushi: Ngam ngam ngam...

Sushi : I finally got it!!
*opens the present and runs away*

Of course, Sushi was caught and sent to one corner..

But she was happy back again when my sister brought her out to her fiancee's relative's place..

Here's her looking at all the nice chicken meat she can't eat :p

After cutting up the chicken and cleaning up, Sushi went around and once food was all ready.. Guess who came up to the table first?

"Top" Secret!

Julia, Jinette and Mako..

After a waiting a long time and finally getting free to blog
(you know my mom.. tiap hari bake cookies and clean house!!
if you read this, ask my che che to come home quick and help!!!!)

But then again, my sister did come back and 'touchdown' for two days to help out
(jac now stares at julia, jinette and mako who never come down to melaka)
*cough*

So we were to make what..

JENG JENG JENG!!
TOP HATS!
Or knowns as Kuih Pai Tee.
It originates from the British colonization back in the olden days in Melaka.
And people then made these 'hats' and stuffed them with ingredients of their likings.

Eating is of course the easy part.
(jac *coughs* again at julia, jinette and mako)

Here comes the hard part.

First we dip it's mold in hot oil..

And wait..

And wait...

And wait some more..
*jac cuts it short*
After the mold heats up, we dip it into the dough till the brim of the mold
and quickly dip it into the hot oil!
We then quickly lift it up a little to form a nice hat
(hence the name 'top hats'!)

Here's the pretty little things..

And here's us all happy and doing it..
My mom said "Do it for Mako lah cause she like to eat"
And we went "Okay, for the love of Mako!!!!"

Sadly, in a while time...

Aiyoo.. wu wu.. dont want do de lahh... hand pain~~

Mako will understand wan lah mommyyy... wuwu

Mom's response:

Mom: Yalloo.. I tell you... her boobs fake wann... You dont believvee...

Seeing us in such desperate state, someone came to offer a hand..

After that, I had to get back to work again :(
But sooner or later,

I managed to manipulate my mom's friend to help me
Yay! Go go go my marketing skills! :p

But after the auntie went home, it was up to me again :(

Collecting my remaining energy and my love for my 'mako''.. wuwu

i told myself to do it...

"DO IT FOR MAKO!!!!!!"

So yeah.. mako, wehn you eat nice nice.. must think that your lovely nieces made them just for you.. you know!! :p

What to Eat.. What to eat.. What to see.. What to see..

Being in Johor Bahru for the first time,

Carolyn took us to eat their famous duck kuey teow..

Wahh.. so much duck... :p

But so little kuey teow.. huhu :(

When we also ate..

Beef noodle thing :p
This one quite nice and it was favourited by Ms. Shiela here

We also dropped by Kenneth's cafe..

Then Carolyn and Shiela said I was very noisy and said "Just one minute without Jacyln coming out any sound.. it would be peace and serenity".. Since they made such a mean remark..

I purposely take all this not nice pictures to make them unhappy!

Finally they flag a white flag admitting their 'defeat'

We then visited Danga Bay which was restaurants by the seaside..

They had everything there.. from pubs to restaurants to even a bride and groom taking photos for their album!! *crowd goes: awhhhhhhhhhhh*

So after looking around, we took a group picture

And we're off to dinner (yes it seems that the whole day was just eating.. eating and MORE EATING!! lol :p)

Aih, pretty much the group you saw in the previous entries in Melaka lah :p

When we were in the bus, me and Shiela was sitting right beside one another while poor Caro had to sit alone..

As soon as we touched Johor's bus stop..

The loneliness got to Carolyn and she became..

Crazy Carolyn!!! :p
With her being all crazy and stuffs..

Poor Shiela and me were left stranded at Johor Bus Stop..
Shiela seems to be happy because I know..
She is already planning to eat me!!!

After Carolyn calmed down and became herself (actually not quite).. they decided to pay respect to legendary JacJac photos by posing in the exact poses Jacjac did a few years back!!

Melaka Trip.... again.... - Volume 2

Why do i have this feeling...

If me and Shiela was caught up in an island and we were all starving...

I have a great feeling.. she's going to eat me up..

Why....................Do I actually have that feeling....

By 7 pm, everyone got tired and the sun was setting..

So I brought my gfs for Seafood at Duyong (yummy!) and they were pretty amazed that there was still a bit of nature stuck still in Melaka.. :)

Amaze to the fact we had to 'feeeeeeel' nature..
Look at Caro all appreciative of it..lol..

All innocent and.. er.. not crazy like :p

This wraps up the day in Melaka.. and the very next day *jac packs her bag*
Its my time to experience Carolyn's hometown!!
