Evaluation #1 : Marketing Implementation Strategy Presentation

My marketing presentation was to talk about the strategic use of the 4 Ps, product, place, price and promotion.

Pfffffffffffftttttttttttttt............ E-A-S-Y...

But my presentation which was HARDCORE THEORY had to keep all my friends and the lecturer awake during the 40 minute presentation.. OH GAWD.. NOT EASY!!

So, me and my group mate Tim brain stormed and finally..


On the day of our presentation, we were both dressed like executives and awaited for our friends and the lecturer to come into class.

Look at me.. all dressed up XD

We were 10 minutes or so early and lecturer was really amaze (seeing that I was always 40 minutes late for his class :p)

And we started on our presentation, giving out -of-the-text book examples ranging from barney, dog shampoo adverts, fed ex advertisements and even hot sexy paris hilton-eating carls junior burger advertisement on the presentation!

Everyone was wide awake (i think) and at the near end, we introduce our planned class activity.

I told them to break into two groups..

GROUP 1

and

GROUP 2

And i asked them to imagine..

"You are two groups hired by the Jac-Trump Company and suddenly, Jac-Trump Co. realized that they had hired too amny people. So they decides to downsize.However, Ms. Trump does not know whose good and whose not..

You are broken into two groups as you can see and each group is given one product to be presented to Ms. Trump and her trusted partners, Mr. Tim (my group mate) and Dr. Sumesh (my lecturer.. hehe!)

With the given products you are to give us a short speech on how the product would be marketed strategically under the 4 Ps

And the products are.........."

Everyone gulped......................................................

Group 1, you'll be doing..

Girl's Bra!!!..

*the group roared in laughter*

And Group 2, you'll be doing..

Men's G-String
*everyone roared in laughter*

And to make things better I continued, I provided you guys with a 3d feature of your products!!
*jac tugs out her paper made bra and g-string and throws to each group*

After brainstormin and making lots of noise, I went to see each group's progress..

Group #1 seems to have some progress by colouring their bra..

Group #2 was still drawing their brand design :p

And when time was up.. they had to present their stuffs!

Group #1 : Girls Bra went first..

We call our's the Star-studed Bra aimed at teenagers with growing breasts.
And if you were wondering.. yes.. they said the word "breast" in class
Slogan: Have fun with comfort

And they went on about what campaigns they were to do and how would they price it.

The lecturer then aimed one question..
"Why is your bra so colourful when it is only meant to be worn inside?"

--------silence--------------

And this really smart girl said
"The designs are meant to attract female consumers. The more colourful and attractive it is, the more it stands out from the crowd!"

We wer amazed and suddenly a friend from group #2 raised up his hand and said "Yes sir, i would like to add, girls in those bras and white tees and wet environment are hot sir!!"

*The class burst into laughter*

The "judges' aka Ms Trump and her partners evaluated them under a evaluation sheet (which I custom made myself.. bangga*)

And soon later was group #2's presentation

This is a personalized G-string where it is available in all alphabets, A- Z!
In this case sir, my model here name is Joezer..

*everyone laughed*

And I raised up my hand "So..what's the slogan"

He got tongue tied but then burst out "Unleash the dragon in you!"

We laughed like hell no doubt*

This group was also evaluated under the evaulaution sheet and at the end, my group mate Tim calculated the marks while i told them the important of the activity.

I told them we need to be creative in ideas if we wanted to stand out of competition and as the marks came in, I told each group weaknesses.

And I continued "Group 1, you have a very detailed marketing strategy and won the heart of all judges in your seriousness but still it lacked creativity"

And group 2, "your creativity is astounding however, the strategies were not strong enough"

So, group 1, you score 7.0 and group 2, with such creativeness in mind................

you score 6.3 and YOU'RE FIRED!!

*Everyone clapped and laughed*

And we thank all participants and the lecturer.

It was indeed a good presentation the lecturer said as he wanted to use some of our slides for his lecture that evening, our friends told us that the presentation was awesome..

And how did we score?

That would be my tiny little secret :) winks*
