My friend asked me to join something called the 'Hash Run'..
And when i asked him what it was about.. He was.. "Neah.. ntg much, its all running .. owh, and please wear the poorest you can"
By then my thought was simple "Sigh.. it's just some jogging thing.." and I wore my very best! Including my brand new reebok shoes.. lolAnyway, during the run, I joined the 'SCB's :p and yes, i am a SCB too! SCB stands for "Short Cut Bastard" because the route of the real journey was SUPERBLY LONG! Around 10 km perhaps?
So I joined a pair of aunties who were walking the short cut route (hehe) and we're all chatting till they said "OMG.. are those new shoes?"
And then they told me that it was best to dirty my shoes or not the club members would punish me by pouring beer into my shoes and expect me to drink it!
I said "No way!!!!"
But being the kind hearted souls and not wanting to see a newbie like me suffer, one of the 'kind hearted' person stepped on my shoes!!!
And when I thought short cuts were short.. it came out longer than expected, and well, it wasnt just jogging.. it was slidding through muddy pits, hiking and climbing here and there, venturing to barb wires and at times, my hands slide on to the ground touching berries which I assume are....
And at the end, we were given free stuffs and I got myself a free t-shirt! Not only that, while I was sitting down, this old aunt came to talk to me and as we further in our conversation, it appeared that she was my grandfather's neighbour and knew my dead grandmother!! Indeed, the world was small.
Nonetheless, for the entire run where my shoes got dirty and my nice clothes got ermm..un-nice..
After our run, we went for what they told me was an "On on"

And it seems that it was their word for dinner :p.. And not only dinner.. but tons and tons and TONS of alcohol.. fu yoh.. it was like beer+whisky+wine heaven..
And while drinking, the celebrated a member's birthday with two tomatoes and a carrot.. go figure what type of shape can they fix on (winks~*)
And in conclusion, I still enjoyed it very much.
I indeed dont care today that my hands were grabbing a bunch of poison berries.. lol.. i didnt care my pants were stuck with weeds, i did not even care that my shoes got dirty.
The small adventure was thrilling. The people were so friendly and warm. Their songs were funny. And of course, this group of people sure knew how to have fun!
HASH CLUB RAWKS to da MAX!
