I could never watch any during my exams so there I went.. one week straight on movies!
1) Beowulf

Personal opinion: Personally, I think it sucked in the storyline but wow-ed me in the graphics.. Then again, this story was made from an 'ancient' poem which then explain the sucky storyline which is then forgiven :) And plus.. i bet all the guys are downloading the 18 sx version of naked Angeline Jolie in this movie man!!
Angie is so hawt!I'm her no. 1 fan!!!
2) Penny Dreadful

Grade: C
Personal opinion: It sucked till the guy beside we stood up and walked out of the cinema. The storyline was basically a girl afraid of sitting car gets stuck in a car by some crazy lunatic hitchhiker which then murders everyone trying to help her and their bodies were all slumped around the car. And to make the movie more 'interesting'.. the movie ONLY revolves IN THE CAR!! Yes.. she will be stuck in the car for the whole 1 hour 45 minutes folks! It would be from trying to drive the car to how she pee in the car, etc.. its all in the car.. yawn*
3) Balls of Fury

Personal opinion: The ad says it all. It's funny but then not so funny that it tickles my funny bone. Perhaps I find it too fast and something tells me i heard their jokes elsewhere before :s
4) Mad Detective
Watched with: Donovan, Chun, Pin & JcGrade: C
Personal opinion: While we were 1 hour late for the movie, I managed to FINALLY catch the drift of the movie as everyone got so confused. An effort of the producer to be artistic and creative as he sets a character to live through a detective who could see the inner personalities of human beings. The story line is indeed silly as it revolves around a gun being stolen by someone..
But how the inner personalities clash/work with one another, i find it a little confusing yet amazing (for the producer to think of such a storyline). Perhaps people would find what I'm saying is confusing but if you like being confused at the start this movie is worth a watch if you're all bored and feeling all smart :)
5) Enchanted
Grade: B
Personal opinion: The guys were making fun that it was the first time Disney is making a 'love scandal' movie but to me, it was NICE!
I was those critics which were first to say this movie sucked even before watching the movie. To me, it was SO LAME and the bantings didn't help either..
But after watching the movie, it made me want to sing and dance around and talk to cockroaches in Murni (a mamak/food stall).. and i finally understand why Mc Dreamy is Mc Dreamy after all! *jac goes: ahhhhhhhhhhhhhhh*
6) Last legion
Watched with: Mom & DadGrade: D and that DOES NOT mean distinction.. lol :p
Personal opinion: Okay.. note 1, why is there a scrawny Indian chick during the Roman times? :s I mean if there was to be an Indian chick, Ms. Ash is just so wrong or perhaps too pretty/dainty for such a " I am Xena warrior princess' role.. And if you asked me how the movie was.. Jac goes "Huh what what where??" *jac wipes her drool as she awakes from her sleep*
7) The Kingdom

Personal opinion: This movie kick ass man!!! Awesome movie! I was all frowny because I thought it would be all boring and stuff like that..i mean look at the ad.. B-O-R-I-N-G.. but after watching it.. OMG!!.. I just feel that I'm ready to date any Muslim guy that comes my way!! * Colonel Faris is HAWTT!!!* lol :p
8) Hitman

Personal opinion: Oh..... Old Mc Hit man had a few enemies.. e-ai-e-ai-oh... And a shoot shoot there.. and a shoot shoot here.. there shoot.. here shoot.. everywhere must shoot shoot! Owh Mc Hitman had a few enemies.. e-ai-e-ai ohhhh~~ -end- Only advisable to be watched by hardcore game players, people who love shooting other people and of course, those who love this song! :p

Hitman's not bad, but I think Jason Statham from Transporter would better fit the role of 47. You can say the game character is specially modeled after him!
