Well I was bored a few weeks back and I decided to play some old games I had in my drawer...

It was first the very old Dungeon Siege 2

Not only does it drive you crazy being stuck in a dungeon but what I like about this game is that you have annoying companions which tag along and make you stronger. You of course leave them at times because they too have their own secondary quests and if you wanted to complete all of them, you would recruit them one by one as there is a number of limit in a group. If you're not a social person, hey, DS2 gives you a range of pets to choose from - donkeys (yeah..seriously), scorpions, ice elements and stuff... but for them to level up, you must sacrifice your weapons or armour.. what you feed it, it will grow into it.. so if you were to feed crappy armour, you get a crappy donkey in crappy defense.. you get the drill.. Being a stingy b****, pets aren't my type :p

Jermy who played this game as well wasn't that good at it (hehe) because he was a social outcast and think that he is far superior than his group and decided to go solo and bash evil mobs randomly.

Me *cough* on the other hand finished this game in 3 days which jermly said was impossible.. Funny thing about this game too is that it drops rather funny items such as a bucket to put on ur head? and a pillow at the end of the game when you are walking around and see a gay pillow fight :p as in.. seriously..

Game Cool-ness: B
Good thing: Pets, Group formation, Good sense of humour, Storyline,
Bad thing: Annoying group characters, Pet food choice, Hidden Quests (Annoying to find)


Then came... Silver fall..


Worst thing about this game is, I never knew it ended.. haha.. I killled the big boss without knowing it was a big boss and that piece of shit only lasted like 1 minute :s...

I went back to town and they made me king.. weird...

Owh, and this stinky game only has a damn un-informable CITY map.. or can i say a brown piece of round shape paper with... purple and green dots.. THE END.. And when you enlarge the map, you will see.. a green area... with.. purple and green dots... great... thanks guys... really a big help here..

Moreover, after winning this game, they asked me whether i wanted to repeat it.. i was level 45 and i was like 'Ok.. let's try the new armour i got from killing the so-called-boss' and i was sent back to the place which i first started... and when i meant just started..it was really JUST STARTED.. all the monsters were.. at level 1?!? omg....

And moreover, you can only recruit one person :( which is so totally not my thing.. and that you can either be PRO-Technology or PRO-Nature.. so it means all quests taken must be either on each side or you shall have trouble wearing your armour and weapons (usually good ones are pro-tech or pro-nature) and your secondary skill tree points are based on your 'loyalty' to one of these sides!! Being pro tech enables you to use guns and have a mechnical arm and stuff while for me, being a pro-nature made me look like an asshole because I had leaves all drapped around me.. when i was a tough ORC! RAWR!!

And well, this game develops with what group characters you take, how you train them and how you talk to them. I had a cleric troll women as my group mate and i choosed all kind words to speak to her..and in the end, she fell in love with me? :s *jac's response: ewww....*

So yeah, she became my queen.. ugly troll queen and i became a leave-wearing ORC king.. a very happy ending..

Game Cool-ness: C-
Good thing: Monster choices, Secondary Skill Tree and You become King (duh!)
Bad thing: Map details, Limit of group members, Weak lame monsters, 50% Storyline & Repeated game brings you back to level 1 monsters

Then my friends told me 'Try this.. damn scary'... F.E.A.R

Dont worry... there is seriously.. nothing to "F.E.A.R" About...

This is the 2nd episode to F.E.A.R and I was never a shot shot CS person.. so I cannot really express my joy in this game..

You go on killing weird ghost looking thing which sometimes can be killed or cannot be killed and after all the hardwork... you cannot get to kill the girl aka the main boss in the game? And of course, there is a sequel to it..

A very super long game? Em.. No thanks

Game Cool-ness: C-
Good thing: 10% Scary, Cool Evil Girl, Weapon Choice, Audio
Bad thing: Supersoldiers that takes a VERY long time to kill, Draggy storyline

Again, I'm a group person, so when it comes to Jericho..

Me like-ie!

A group all with their very own super powers from ninja skills, kinesis, soul-shifting, summoning pet dragon, etc... what is there not to like? Oh yeah, my ever slow graphic card... me no like..

And well, you never die in this game.. unless you're a complete imbecile.. or well, your group is slow OR you can still blame it on your graphic card like me.. haha.. but you die really seldom because you can heal yourself *with magic powers from your hands! muahahaha* and well when you die, your spirit flow to the nearest team member :p and well you can rush to your dead/unconcious body and heal it!

Confused? Well the story is that there's this freaky child which goes loose in the desert. You, the JERICHO team is suppose to kick his ass. Sadly, he kicked yours first and you die. Well sort of, your spirit goes into your group mates and you realize you are not a loser in your group and you too have super powers; to possess your group members!

You possess every one of them in the game as there are certain scenes when you need to use their special skills and what's cool is that they listen to commands such as 'ATTACK!', "STAY HERE", "ALPHA TEAM MOVE OUT!" (when you want them to stand on a button) "BETA TEAM MOVE OUT" etc..

You and your team then get warped into a dimension where the child rules and you need to kill him and find a way back to your world..

A rather confusing game because you have lots of buttons to press that sometimes you feel only an octopus can play it but I would say it is way better than F.E.A.R. However, what sucks is the really hard to pass scenes where you need to jump and use your arrow buttons to move your character before you fall into a hole of pitch darkness and die..The scene repeats itself over and OVER again till you go crazy and go shopping with your boyrfiend or well, ou try harder.

Worst of all, after kicking the child's ass for kicking mind, the ending was... no ending? :s you just dive into a pool of water, swim through a cave and you end up in the sea.. like hello... so er.. am i like back to my world yet?

Game Cool-ness: C+
Good thing: 60% horror and creepy-ness, Group skills and characters, 90% storyline
Bad thing: No ending, Scenes where you solo out as a sniper and need to find your lost team mates

Next game (yes, jacjac the freak gamer) would be Legend: Hand of God..


If you want to start playing this game, my advice: DONT.

I think anyone who googles this game would be linked to my blog because well, no one wrote a walkthrough on it and there is very little reviews on it.. why?

Because it sucks!

Even if you had a cool ass graphics card, it sucks.

You end up as Targon and his horny little pixie companion aka your mouse cursor.. Irritating because at times, can't see my mouse cursor.. and worst of all, if you change the settings here and there (like miss itchy fingers here), you end up with a map-less game.. haha..

But after solving the problem, I played till the very end where Mr. Targon goes to kiss some chick which he saved and miss pixie decided to sacrifice herself at the very end to close the evil portal.. so i get confuse.. is there a love scandal here? wuuu~~ scandalous :p

The dungeons too are really irritating. As you die, your body is sent to the nearest portal point which is usually outside of the dungeon. Only portal point in the dungeon would the last level where you are suppose to kill a mini boss. So when I died, I had to run through the countless (actually 3) levels to get to where I died and worst, all monster regenerate after you die.. which... SUCKS..

Moreover, when you kill the bis boss, you get a pu**y-looking armour and you get to repeat the game ..

So er, only good thing is, Targon's hot :p

Bad thing: Predictable storyline, Armour and weapon choice, Game bugs, Only one character of choice

So that ends my reign of games to diss and heart..
