My exotic pet Elmo

Well,

Yuki has a brother.. or is it sister.. i don't know :p..

It was just a random day, a random hour, a random lepak, where i stumble into an exotic pet shop in Summit and decided 'Hey, I want that tarantula!' .. lol

So, me and my room mate bought the slowest laziest tarantula and brought it home. It was cool having an exotic pet as you go around showing your friends how 'cool' it is .. but beware everyone! This pet is B-O-R-I-N-G.

We call him (or was it her?.. Damn we forgot to ask the shopkeeper) :s Elmo. Every since I bought him, he has not eaten (that would be 1 month and still running)..It is either doing a 'kate-moss-dieting-program' or it's on a hunger strike because it has a plastic container as his home. My evil housemate, Su N constantly drops by to check if it's dead yet (awww.. how sweet).

And despite elmo not eating, he has the habit of walking for 5 seconds and then posing for 5 hours.. sigh.. I mean.. even it's meal was more interesting to take care of! Well, Elmo eats meal worms..


Yes, if you guys want a dramatic pet. This would be the ideal pet for you. It eats like no one's business. It shits like no one's either. Not only that, they practice cannibalism if you don't feed them. They change their skin very often and wriggle like hell when you catch them. There was once it wriggle out of my chopsticks and landed on my lap. And even more freakish incident was when i was half asleep and was suppose to feed Elmo. I put my hand on the container to close it but it accidentally tipped. It was like a Horror Movie. The worms ran scatteringly and i screamed as i try my best picking them up with chopsticks (if you knew me, i ain't a chopstick person)..

Oh and here comes the most dramatic part of this pet. When it dies, it turns black and it breaks into half, releasing white tiny maggots (they look smaller than dandruff) which hop around. It happen in Elmo's home and i was so freaked out, I sms-ed Eugene Tan for S.O.S. He was 'Juz put it int he microwave'. So i put it in the microwave. Now Elmo's home is also the graveyard of those little maggots.. >:D Haha.. suckers! (i know it's bad cooking them.. but then they were harmful for mr. elmo :( )

So that's about my pet Elmo.. or perhaps my pet meal worms :p
